Facilities
The facilities at Tweed View Care Home have been designed to make our residents feel happy, comfortable and secure.
Our service is flexible, and designed to suit you
At Tweed View Care Home we're a long way from offering a 'one-size fits all' service. We would be more than happy to talk through your own individual requirements to find the best fit, whether you're looking for long or short term residential care, or day care options.
You may be looking for a future care home in Berwick for yourself or a relative, require short-term respite care, or even holiday relief while as a carer you take a break. Whatever your needs, we can find a way to help.

We take security seriously, whilst respecting personal independence
There's always a fine line, in every aspect of our lives, between creating a secure and safe environment and oppressing personal indepdence, and we're proud to say that we get it right.
There are three core aspects to our management of safety and security, with the first being the vigilence of our well-trained staff team, who are actively available both day and night.
As you would expect we have also focused on physical security, with every resident able to lock away valuables in their own secure cupboard; a unique personal key provided for every resident's room; and all external doors linked to our well maintained alarm system and TV monitors.
We have a fulfilling range of activities
We work with our residents and their families to provide a fulfilling array of activities, geared to individual, personal preferences and abilities.

We're specialists in dementia care
Tweed View Care Home has developed experience and expertise in the care of residents experiencing dementia. Taking the lead from award-winning research in the field of dementia care we have adapted our care facilities to make them safe, accessible and above all to encourage improved confidence.
It's the little things that matter
We know how important those little things that make day to day life comfortable are to our residents and their relatives. We strive to exceed the expectations of both, with our facilities for personal hygiene and personal care.
For our residents regular visits, from the hairdresser to the local clergy, can be an important part of their week, and for those who are not able to visit the local GP, optician, dentist or chiropidist, we arrange for them to come to us.
Our location would be hard to beat
Tweed View Care Home is a beautiful Victorian building that started its life as a Berwick convent, and its stunning views across the River Tweed offer a haven of peace and tranquility for our residents.
